A home designed for now, and the next chapter

Private Client | Alderley Edge
Whole-home interior design | Flexible furnishings | Procurement and installation

Moving from a two-bedroom apartment in London to a four-bedroom house in Alderley Edge presented our clients with an opportunity to create a completely different way of living.

The property was to be their home for approximately two years, so the brief was not simply to decorate a rental. They wanted a home that felt personal, comfortable and beautifully considered, while avoiding significant permanent alterations to a property they would eventually leave behind.

DOVE was appointed to design and implement the interior throughout the house, creating a cohesive scheme that balanced sophistication with flexibility.

Designed to move with them

A key part of the brief was creating a home that could evolve with our clients and ultimately travel with them to their next property.

We focused on considered, flexible pieces that could transform the rental into a highly personalised home without relying on permanent interventions. Furniture, lighting, fabrics, artwork and accessories were selected not only for how they worked within the Alderley Edge property, but for their longevity beyond it.

The result was a home that felt complete and deeply personal, while remaining adaptable to whatever came next.

Managed through to completion

DOVE managed the interior design and implementation of the home, coordinating the design, sourcing, procurement and installation to create a finished home ready for our clients to move into and enjoy.

The project demonstrates our belief that exceptional interior design is not necessarily about how permanent a project is. It is about understanding how our clients want to live and creating an environment that supports that lifestyle, however long they may call it home.

A home for this chapter. Designed with the next one in mind.
